Every Pitcher Tells a Story

Well, that’s how the saying goes, right?  Candidly, it will be our opposing pitcher and his Tapper teammates who will tell the story of how they photobombed us in every frame.

Another apt phrase is that a picture is worth a thousand words.  Folks, you’re gonna get a couple hundred thousand words today.  Our game never developed and because we mainly had negatives, your blogger is a selfie-loathing photojournalist today.

The Tappers shuttered the Cougars 6-0 with their depth of fielders and burst mode on offense.

The Cougars did have a few flashes of brilliance under the abundant ambient light.

  • Li’l Rads pixelated the ball and was 2-2 with a single and double.
  • Joker distorted the ball for two singles.
  • Bobi singled a Canon shot.
  • Kale exported a line shot through the infield.
  • Fort zoomed to the outfield to make an angled over the shoulder catch.
  • Flandog made several glossy plays in the field.
  • Boom showed his dynamic speed in the outfield with several sweet plays.
  • Rads to Martini to Li’l Rads wide-angle to close-up putout at first base.

The only home run hit by the Cougars last night was by the Danielsen family.  They put out their welcome matte and hosted a grand slam postgame.  The players and families of both teams got red-eyed until the backyard became a darkroom.

The Cougars do not have a photographic memory and will wipe our memory card as we look through the viewfinder and focus on the playoffs.
