For years, I believed the best Tuesday night lineup was in 1978 on ABC. You had Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley and Three's Company commanding quite an audience. Sprinkle a little Mork and Mindy and Starsky and Hutch and you had yourself an all-star team (1).
Last year that all changed. The Tuesday night lineup for the Cougars started slow in the ratings but we were never at risk for being canceled. Our audience increased each week and cast parties were at the top of the Nielsen ratings. In fact, the ratings for the Flannery Finale were of Super Bowl caliber.
It is never too early to start thinking Cougar softball. It was nine months ago last night that we lost our first game of our inaugural season, 35-1. I was not a math major but I do keep an HP 12C and a 12 key adding machine on my desk and all my calculations show that we are just three months away from opening day.
The purpose of this email is twofold. First, please send me an email letting me know if you are in or out for the 2009 Cougar campaign. Second, if you are in, mark your calendars for April 11th, 18th and 19th, which are all potential dates for our first practice.

- Chachi - CF (Chachi had wheels)
- Fonzie - SS (If he can jump a shark with a leather jacket, he can play SS)
- Hutch - RF (He would have gunned down that 400 lb first baseman on the Beavers)
- Richie - 3B (I would not let him shoot the game winning free throw but would have him at the hot corner)
- Potsie - LF (Potsie was not as clumsy as you would think)
- Lenny - C (He drives a beer truck - how can you go wrong)
- Sqiggy - 2B (Very annoying teammate but also works on the beer truck)
- Carmine - P (A dancer - fancy footwork on the mound)
- Jack Tripper - EH (Those klutzy moves were not fake - no fielding for him)
- Starsky - 1B (With Starsky, Fonzie Squiggy, we will have 3 leather jackets in the field)
- Mork - SC - (A diamond in the rough)
- Mr. Furley - Manager
- Al - 1B coach
- Mr. C - 3B coach
- Huggy Bear - Fan (It was never proven that he was a pimp but he seems like a good time)
- Pinky and Leather Tuscadero - Fans (Cougars need Cougars)
